Diving in Cozumel - December 2009
The diving in Cozumel was fantastic! The fish are everywhere and have been acclimated to divers observing their every move. This means that they do not scatter or hide in the creases of the coral when you float overtop of them. I did two drift dives and enjoyed every minute of the diving. One of the most enjoyable movements was when I saw the sea turtles at the cleaning station with the large, black and yellow angel fish swarming around them. Blake, a fellow meddie in my class, loves sea turtles. I never really understood his obsession until this moment when I saw them up-close. They swim with elegance and glide through the water as if they aren't moving.
The coral wasn't as extravagant as it is in Roatan but the brave fish make up for it. If you are looking for a dive boat/company to take you out on Cozumel ScubaTony is the group I went with. The dive group was small, only 3 other divers, me, Tony and his backup guide. The boat was nice, clean, and everyone shared a passion for diving. You can look up or contact him through his website at http://www.scubatony.com/

Diving in Honduras with Coach Busch's class
This was a picture taken last May 08 when I made the trip to Roatan, an island off the coast of Honduras. I love scuba diving and am so excited that I have a group of people who enjoy the hobby. More to come on this later.
Can you guess which diver I am?
