I was lazy yesterday.  I really didn't do a whole bunch, talked to Em, watched the Nanny, sent some emails, took a nap...you know the important things.  We did watch Jon and Kate plus 8 which was kind of sad.  I left it feeling kind of guilty for reading the trashy celebrity gossip magazines.  I don't know why but I really enjoy reading those magazines, well really I like looking at the pictures.  Rarely do I ever take enough time to read an entire article.  I have tried to quit the magazines but I am addicted.  They are nothing special probably mostly lies anyway.  However, I don't think I can believe Kate when she said she didn't sign up for this...because what did she think was going to happen?  I was actually kind of ticked off when she talked about not liking the fans in the beginning.  Kate was talking about how she is just another mom raising her kids and nothing special.  Umm hello you are on TV and people across the country are watching you.  They know your face, your family, and where you live.  Before you signed the papers you should have thought about more than just the money you were going to get.  Perhaps that was a bit harsh but come on.  It isn't like this was the first reality tv show to air or the first to have drama and problems.

Sorry for the rant on people I don't know.  In the end they are just a family with normal problems and they are human.  They can't be perfect, it just sucks that they have it all on tape.

Ended the night by going to RedBox and renting New in Town with Renee Zellweger adn Harry Connick Jr.  It was alright but won't be renting it again.  It was worth the $1.08 to watch.  Now going to wash the dog....I will report back on how that goes. Meg

My name is Meg and I am currently a Geriatrics and Palliative Care Fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.  I started this blog several years ago as a way to remember and talk about what I experienced while studying abroad in Rwanda during the summer of 2009.

The blog has now continued and still serves as a way to let my friends and family know what I have been up to and a way for me to open up.
